Nick vanGigch 2

Meet Nick vanGigch, National Pump Sales Manager of Hy-Flex Corporation. He is a dedicated husband, rugged outdoorsman and exemplary employee. Nick joined Hy-Flex on the recommendation of a former employer. He had experience working with Hy-Flex from the consumer side in his previous job. That experience made for a smooth professional transition.

“I had been using the Hy-Flex equipment for years and was very familiar with it; I loved the equipment and was well-aware of the quality and reliability,” Nick said.

One of Nick’s favorite parts of working for Hy-Flex is being on the road. As National Pump Sales Manager, he gets to travel across the country promoting the Hy-Flex brand and its products. The affinity for traveling came as a bit of a surprise.

“I was surprised how much I enjoy hitting the road and seeing customers in the trade. Once a customer purchases their first Hy-Flex, I know they will likely buy a second or third machine,” he proclaimed.

Finding pride in the job is vital to success in any profession. Contract manufacturing is no different. Hy-Flex builds the highest quality products in the industry and employees are not afraid to tell you about it. In fact, it’s encouraged. Nick has a special talent when it comes to explaining the products Hy-Flex offers to its consumers. He’s not fond of titles, but the precise and effective explanations he offers helped Nick become National Pump Sales Manager.

“I think we build some of the best products in the industry. We are a small company and the growth potential is unlimited. We take good care of our customers,” Nick explained.

The dedication to customers isn’t just a calling card of Hy-Flex Corporation and its employees — it’s what sets Hy-Flex apart. Nick vanGigch personifies it.

When asked to think back about a memorable moment at Hy-Flex, Nick gave an anecdote demonstrating his passion for the job.

“A year ago, I started a young man in this business. And 12 months later he owned seven pieces of equipment and became a legitimate contractor in our trade. He has grown at a meteoric rate and will likely become the largest company of his kind, in his area in the next few years,” he said.

Here’s to you, Nick!
